Family Assistance Representatives are often overwhelmed by the magnitude of the crisis and constitute one of the highest risk groups for developing stress disorders. Studies show that these workers are at risk for increased illness and psychological difficulties up to a year after the event.

Any personnel who would act as Family Liaison volunteers in a crisis. These are the volunteers who assist families of victims following a major disaster or traumatic event (such as an airplane crash).

We walk participants through the key issues they will face in dealing with victims of tragedy. Through teaching and discussion, we help them understand how to help the victims more effectively while also taking care to safeguard their own mental health.
